Welcome to 14 Hands Ranch
Hello! We are the Sharp family and we are glad you are here! Our small family farm is located where the beautiful Flinthills of Kansas begins. We raise Finnsheep, Guernsey cattle, and Lamancha dairy goats.
We have 5 children. Two of them are grown and off on their own adventures now. With three children at home, we still stay busy. We enjoy homeschooling, sports, riding horses, a good book, pumpkin cookies, and being barefoot. I will share more about our farm and family on the journal page so be sure to sign up for our newsletter so that you don’t miss a post!
The Finnsheep spend their days happily grazing while growing their wonderful, next-to-skin soft wool. After shearing, we have that wool processed into roving and yarn that we are proud to offer for sale. Occasionally, I will offer an art piece for sale made using wool from our Finnsheep
You will also find our goat milk soaps and lotions we make using the milk from our dairy goats.
Our Guernsey cattle enjoy grazing their days out in the pasture eating all the grass they want with the sheep and goats. Guernsey cattle are known for producing a lot of butterfat in their milk. Our little herd are A2A2 which means that people with a dairy sensitivity may be able to digest their milk better.
All of our products are available for purchase in our shop. However, some products, like our Guernsey milk are only available for local pick-up.
